Hey Gal Pals and Welcome!
I’m absolutely thrilled you’re here. I’m Kristian, a dedicated special education teacher, a proud mom to two energetic boys, and someone who’s constantly mastering the art of juggling IEP meetings, snack demands, and squeezing in an invigorating workout before bedtime (or at least dreaming about it).
I created The Differentiated Mama because I know I’m not alone in navigating the exhilarating chaos of managing multiple roles with half a cup of coffee. This blog is a space where I’ll share my favorite Amazon finds, classroom tips, toddler routines, and realistic wellness ideas that fit into a teacher-mom life.
What You’ll Find Here:
- Time-saving tools and routines for SPED/resource teachers
- Toddler-approved activities (that actually give you 10 minutes of peace)
- Mom-life fitness hacks (hello, workouts during nap time!)
- Real-life, no fluff product reviews to make your life easier
Whether you’re here for teaching resources or toddler meltdowns-or you just want to feel a little less alone in the chaos-welcome to the crew. Let’s figure this thing out together, one day (and Amazon Prime box) at a time.
What’s Saving my Sanity Right Now
Before you go, here are a few things I actually use on the daily to stay (somewhat) organized, hydrated and grounded in the chaos.
- My Go To Classroom Timer– I use this one for small groups and reminders for my toddler to go pee
- The Planner That Keeps My Life Together– Seriously, if it’s not written in here, it’s not happening. I’m using this one for my IEP meetings, too!
- Electrolytes I Swear By– Because sometimes coffee isn’t enough, and I need to feel like a human again.

Thanks for being here, I’m so excited to build this community with you!
